Each upcoming and past holiday is shown in a two-side page including the date, a live countdown, a gorgeous image allusive for that holiday, a bit of the history of the event celebrated on that holiday, as well as if the holiday is federal (observed) or not. Simply by sliding, you will know the next or past holidays. For past holidays the countdown shows the days and hours since they happened. Featured holidays include: New Year's Eve, Martin Luther King Day, Saint Valentine's Day, Washington's Birthday and Presidents' Day, Saint Patrick's Day, Easter Sunday, Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day, John F.
